Aim:

Enhance your knowledge of the core components of the tackling techniques, with particular emphasise on Hooking, Blocking Ground Clash :

• Demonstrate the fundamental tackling techniques.
• Highlight good timing.
• Body position & the importance of safety.
• Implement advanced tackling drills.
• Functional Practice, Conditioned Games.

Entry Requirements:

Course candidates must be 18 years or over

Appropriate fee: €5

Duration: 2 hours minimum .

Methodology : Field based presentations, during which coaches will gain experience through practical coaching skills, drills & conditioned games
* Development squad players will perform the various activities.

Equipment required: Sliotars, Cones, Bibs, Tyres, Pegs, Tackle bags
