Ballyboden St. Endas GAA Opel Kit for Clubs Blitz DayAim: Deliberate play activity includes the classic street games, which are usually played with small-sided teams and flexible peer-defined rules.

Play inspires thinking and adaptation, promoting creative problem solving and conflict resolution. It allows children to build their own games, define their own rules, and develops the cognitive skills that are needed not only for players.

In contrast to deliberate practice, is the focused improvement through repetitive activity, continual feedback and correction

  • Spontaneous games to encourage free play
  • Highly structured specific activities designed to advance your skills.
  • Emphasize specific skills for a competitive edge by building upon your pre-existing skills.
  • Highlighting the link between unstructured play and deliberate practice.

The course is primiarly aimed at coaches of youth & child teams (U8 to minor) Coaches of all teams are of course welcome.

Methodology : Field based presentations, during which coaches will gain experience through practical coaching skills, drills & conditioned games. (Hands On)
